We lost Baby Titanic today. The pneumonia or whatever it was she caught got the best of her. The vet says she might have contracted what I had (I handled her a lot when I was home sick last month) or she might have picked something up from the babies we brought home for a few days. She was the offspring of an incestuous relationship so it may also have been some faulty immune system that did her in. After almost three weeks of hand feeding and giving her antibiotics, she took a turn for the worse these last few days. We had her put to sleep this morning. Watching her suffer was terrible.
I just don't have the heart to eulogize another pig.
