Did you know that in many parts of Russia, Friday the 13th doesn't indicate an unlucky day? It's MONDAY the 13th that is traditionally their day of misfortune. I didn't have a particularly unlucky day today so I have no proof of this, but then, I don't live in Russia. However I know this for a real fact because I heard it from a girl who grew up in . . . in . . . dammit. I can't tell you where. Hula moved the atlas again, and I don't remember the name of the country. All I know is that it was off the coast of the Black Sea and the three "clickable" maps of Russia I found on AltaVista are broken. So just take my word for it. Monday the 13th means bad luck in Russia. Or what used to be Russia. Oh hell, I don't know where this is going.
