Okay. Back to normal. I was a little fruity from the Demerol when I last wrote.

I've spoken to the guy (rowr) and I meet with him on the fourth. He's a little pricier than his outdated page indicates, but maybe he'll be up for my idea and a discount for some free advertising. This means I'll have to hawk the page on a bunch of Chicago area websites and figure out just how press releases work. I might be out of my mind, but it should be educational, if not entirely humiliating.

If anyone remembers last month (yeah sure, but let met think you do, okay), the book group went fairly well and I only made an ass of myself once when I compared Medea to Princess Leia from the first Star Wars. (I didn't really, but I wanted to. Icy Bitch.) The next one will be this Monday and we're discussing Hecuba. I'm cheating this time and reading supplementary text. I'm also allowing our guests to bring Greek-related foodstuffs. (By allowing, I mean that originally I figured as hostess, it was up to me to prepare everything. I've since discovered that regular entertaining can mean OTHER people do a little work. I'm so pleased!) Undoubtedly we'll have lots of goat cheese and olives to nibble on.

I've taken "Tales of the PM" off-line as I think someone from work found the site (through Rob of all places). He's still out of his head (the PM not Rob), however, and I'm saving all the stories for the day he no longer works for us anymore.
