For most of the summer I've had this thing, this itchy bumpy THING on my forehead. I've pretty much ignored it and since it's hidden by bangs, the rest of the world has ignored it too.
Until today.
Remember the Breakfast Club? How that girl made it snow on her picture by scratching her head? I did the same thing, only grosser. I was sort of leaning over and was giving the ol' forehead a good scritch when I saw flakes. And not just one or two petite delicate Ally Sheedy flakes, either. Hunks of skin dropped down on my keyboard. I made an involuntary sound and quickly looked up to see if anyone saw or heard me. I was lucky. Everyone was busy making a living rather than paying attention to me.
I made it to the women's restroom and keypunched in the code faster than you can say, "Holy fscking God, my face is coming off!"
In the rest room, I was confronted by a most unpleasant sight. Pieces of skin were lodged in my eyebrows. IN MY EYEBROWS. Welts and blotches like small angry children were everywhere. The very top of my face was announcing to the world, "Here's one sick and filthy looking chick!" Between that an my "bag lady ready to attack" hair (that's another entry entirely), I looked like, well, a bag lady ready to attack.
I cleaned up and removed the debris, but I'm pretty concerned now. It burns like hell, is extremely unsightly, and I fear the worse.
Please help me. Does this look like cancer to you?
